Cllr Abbas Merali is the Head of Campaigning for Conservative Friends of Small Business (CFoSB).

He is a Chartered Accountant and a former M&A investment banker. He then transitioned to becoming a social care and real estate entrepreneur.

Abbas now owns and leads a social care business providing nursing dementia care facilities across the home counties and employing over 250 people. He also runs a real estate investment and development business and is on the Advisory Board of a company aiming to transform the provision of mental health services.

Politically, Abbas is a Councillor in the Three Rivers District Council, Deputy Chair Political for South West Hertfordshire, Chairman of the Patrons Club and an aspiring MP on the parliamentary candidates list.

He is an active campaigner and volunteer in the local community and charities and a keen sportsman with a passion for tennis.
